Time had taken its toll on the cedar shingles of this home, allowing for large areas of water damage and rot. The entire home was stripped, all water damage/rot issues were properly treated and repaired, and new white cedar shingles were installed. As with all Colonial Craftsmen cedar siding, the shingles were prestained on all sides in the color of choice, and a final finish coat of latex stain was applied after installation.

As part of the overall month-long project, this home's color was updated from gold to celtic blue, and all wood gutters and downspouts were removed and replaced with a new aluminum gutter system.
